BECKY + GLEN

Guests arrived by water to the luxurious Villa Balbiano for an intimate garden ceremony overlooking the iconically stunning Lake Como. The villas arched entrance was framed by pastel roses while soft clouds of tiny white flowers lined the aisle. The ceremony location looked a dream. Becky shone in a Berta dress and was escorted down the aisle by the most gorgeous bridal party of flower girls and page boys including her ‘cute as a button’ son Louis.

Post ceremony guests enjoyed late afternoon canapés and beverages in the shade of the villa followed by an extravagantly styled poolside reception. Mirrored tables, gold accents, and marble dinner plates juxtapose the twisted moss covered tree like centre pieces. The pool too was transformed into a dramatic piece of art, with the addition of three thousand floating red rose petals all by the incredibly talented stylist, Vincenzo Dascanio.

Reception kicked off with plenty of entertained and concluded with cake cut and sparkling fireworks… While we are on the subject of cake, can we take a moment to appreciate the chandelier inspired master piece by Marco Failla! It’s crystals magically hovering between the lower two and upper three cake tiers. The cake stood tall on the mirror table surrounded by crystals & pastel roses, emulating a smashed glass effect, almost like a dramatically romantic mess of a scene had just occurred.

We felt so blessed to be working alongside so many incredibly talented artists and just adored photographing Becky + Glens moments. Villa Balbiano would have to be up there as a favourite venue world wide and we look forward to being back there soon!
